The 4th International Conference "Argus Caspian and
Black Sea Transport Corridor 2017" was held in Batumi. The new cargo and
the prospects of the Georgia-Azerbaijan transport corridor, reformation of dynamics of cargo turnover in the Caspian
and Black Sea regions, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, tariff policy and other
important issues were discussed at the meeting.
The conference was opened by the Deputy Minister of
Finance and Economy Konstantine Megrelishvili. He emphasized the significance of the
transport corridor and talked about the future prospects in this direction.
According to the statement of Mamuka Bakhtadze,
Director General of the JSC “Georgian Railway”, the results obtained at the
conference create a significant platform to make the existing between
the “Georgian Railway” and its partners business
relations long-term and strong.
The conference was attended by 130 delegates from more than
15 countries representing oil and transport--logistics companies, as well as oil-proccessing countries
and fuel consumer countries.
The 4th International Conference "Argus Caspian

Georgian Railway and the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
